In Psalm 90:1-12, the Bible gives us some insight into making the most out of our time. God doesn’t wear a watch, or He is not bound by time. God is the Creator of time, and we must realize that He is more significant than time. God says in His Word that we should treasure time as a valuable commodity. We can make more money, but we cannot make more time. Many people make an expression that “time is money.” That statement is not true because time is more valuable than money.
None of us can save time; we can only invest our time. Where you invest your time reveals the things in life that are more important to you. Managing our time is essential because every moment we have is a gift from God. One of the things that are true about time is that if you don’t manage it, someone else will. There is no such thing as saving time or wasting time because you will spend it and invest it somehow.
I believe that outside of spending time with God, we should all make sure we spend time with our family. Some people will rob you of that time, but we must learn to say no to the time robbers. Time is God’s gift to us, and it is very precious. My prayer is that God will take this devotional and use it now to change our lives for all time! Amen!
