Pastor Shane's Vision for D-Groups...
I have always had a heart for discipleship.  Each year, I pray for God to give me three men to disciple.   I believe outside of prayer and being plugged into the Word of God, the most important thing that Christians can do is be discipler's for Christ.  In 2009, I developed a full-discipleship teaching ministry that was more of a classroom setting.  After years of conviction that this ministry was only reaching 20-30 people, I realized there had to be something better.  After three years of praying and planning, the Holy Spirit spoke to me on a way that makes discipleship become a multiplying process in churches and communities instead of just an addition or in some cases, a division process.  In my FREE online training, I share this process with anyone wanting to learn.  Here is a little information about my heart for a D-Group and how together we can reach millions with the gospel...

What is a D-Group?
D-Groups consist of 3 to 5 men or women committed to growing together for a set period of time (12-18 months) with the goal of multiplying when each member sets out and replicates the group by inviting others to take the same discipleship journey with them; then replicate the process.

Our D-Group Solution...
Two of the biggest barriers in Christian growth are lack of Biblical engagement and lack of authentic accountability. When we lack personal Bible reading and accountable relationships, we will eventually stall in our spiritual growth. The  D-Groups solve this issue. The greatest benefit to being plugged into a D-Group is the plan and accountability that it provides to help get people into the Word and keep them in the Word until the Word gets into them.

Our D-Groups plan gives a replicable plan for discipleship. When people don’t know what to do, they often don’t do anything at all. To following the Great Commission, we need to be shown how to do it. Without a plan or tools, we will remain inactive and ineffective. In our D-Group training, we have a simple plan and repeatable process that anyone can follow to facilitate a group that leads to personal growth and multiplication.  Pastor Shane is here to help anyone willing to become a discipler for Christ accomplish that goal.
