"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." - Ephesians 4:31-32
In a world filled with hurt and disappointments, it can be easy to hold on to negative emotions and let them consume us. However, as followers of Christ, we are called to a higher standard. We are called to let go of bitterness, anger, and malice, and instead, embrace kindness, compassion, and forgiveness.
Forgiveness is a powerful tool that not only sets others free but also sets us free from the burden of carrying grudges. Just as God forgave us through Christ, we are reminded to extend that same forgiveness to those around us. Through forgiveness, we experience the true freedom and peace that comes from God's love.
Let us be quick to forgive, slow to anger, and abound in love towards one another, just as our Heavenly Father has been towards us. May we strive to embody the grace and mercy that has been bestowed upon us, spreading the light of forgiveness wherever we go.
