Known and Loved by an All-Knowing God

Psalm 139:1–2 (KJV 1900)

¹ O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. ² Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off.

Psalm 139 beautifully captures the depth of God's intimate knowledge and unfailing love for each one of us. It reminds us that we are not mere strangers to our Creator but rather intimately known and understood by Him. God's presence surrounds us at all times, His eyes are upon us, and His thoughts towards us are countless.

In moments of loneliness or uncertainty, take comfort in the truth that God knows you inside and out. He is aware of every detail of your life, every thought that passes through your mind, and every emotion that stirs in your heart. You are not alone, for the Creator of the universe is intimately acquainted with you.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable before God, knowing that He sees you in your entirety and loves you unconditionally. There is no hiding from His presence, no escaping His gaze, yet in His knowledge of you, there is profound acceptance and grace. Let His all-knowing love surround you and bring you peace.

Today, rest in the assurance that you are known and loved by an all-knowing God. Embrace His intimate knowledge of you, surrendering your fears and insecurities into His caring hands. Rejoice in the truth that you are wonderfully made and cherished by the One who knit you together in your mother's womb. Trust in His unfailing love, for in His presence, you are fully known and deeply loved. Amen.
