Life Is A Battlefield!

Friends, we are in the middle of a battlefield right now. The battle I am speaking of is not a battle fought with guns and bombs but fought for the souls of men and women, including your very soul.

1 Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” I want you to understand that the Devil is REAL, and he is not some cute character running around in red carrying a pitchfork. The Bible says that the devil is real, our adversary. In other words, the devil is your opponent – he is your enemy!

The place where the fiercest battles are fought is in our thoughts, in our minds, in our thinking, and our imaginations that the seeds of sin, the deeds of our destruction, are sown. It is only when self- nature surrenders its way and becomes willing to accept God’s way that we are enabled to choose right over wrong. The contest over the control of the will that lies at the heart of every victory and every defeat.

 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Romans 13:14 says,” But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Amen!
