Overcoming Destructive Emotions!

Proverbs 27:4 "Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; But who is able to stand before envy?"

This verse reminds us of the destructive power of anger, fury, and jealousy. Anger can be cruel, causing pain and suffering in its wake. Rage, when left unchecked, can overwhelm the one experiencing it and those around them. But it is jealousy that strikes a particular chord in this verse.
