Purpose!

Psalm chapter 8 tells each of us that we have a purpose in life. In this Psalm God used David to help us realize our purpose on earth. God placed everyone on this planet for His purpose. God wants everybody's life to be so different that they make a difference in the life of other people.

Many of us have a problem of what others think of us, but the truth be known, we should only be concerned about what God thinks about us. What does God think about you? Psalm 8:4 says, "What is man, that thou are mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Verse 5 goes on to say, "Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, And thy thouts which are to us-ward: They cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: If I would declar and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered."

David tells us in this Psalm that we are so important to God that He thinks about us all the time. In other words, you are on God's mind 24 hours a day, seven days a week. God cares about everything we do in this life. God gives us purpose and wants our lives to be so different that we can make a difference in the lives of other people.



May we pray and ask God to show us how to be unique and use the gifts that He has blessed each of us individually with. If we use what God has given us, we can change the world and discover what our purpose is here. Amen!
