Psalm 28:7 declares, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; And with my song will I praise him."

The Lord is My Strength and Shield: As we approach Thanksgiving, let us focus on the source of our strength and protection—the Lord. Just as a shield guards against the onslaught of arrows, the Lord surrounds us with His divine protection. In moments of weakness, we find our strength in Him.

My Heart Trusts in Him: Trust is the cornerstone of our relationship with God. Thanksgiving is about expressing gratitude for blessings and acknowledging our unwavering trust in the Lord. Our hearts can rest securely in His promises, knowing He is faithful.

He Helps Me: Thanksgiving celebrates how God intervened in our lives. In times of trouble, His help is our refuge. Reflect on the moments when God's hand was evident, providing assistance, comfort, and guidance. With each recollection, let gratitude well up within you.

My Heart Leaps for Joy: The psalmist's declaration is one of joy that springs from a deep well of gratitude. This Thanksgiving, may your heart, too, leap for joy as you reflect on the goodness of God. Rejoice in the assurance that, regardless of circumstances, you belong to a God who is faithful and loving.

With My Song, I Praise Him: Let your gratitude find expression in a song of praise. Whether in spoken words, melodies, or quiet contemplation, offer a song of Thanksgiving to the One who deserves all honor. Your praise is a sweet melody that resonates in the heavenly realms.

As you gather with loved ones or spend quiet moments of reflection, let Psalm 28:7 guide your Thanksgiving celebration. May your heart be filled with trust, joy, and a resounding song of praise to the Lord—the source of your strength and shield.
