Burdens in Life!

We all have burdens in life. Some of our burdens are physical, some are spiritual and some are even emotional.  Burdens will weigh you down. Psalm 55:22 says: “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer righteous to be moved.”

Jesus Christ is our great burden bearer. Many times we want to cling to a burden in an attempt to carry it ourselves. Have you been bitter towards God because you have asked Him to lift your burden and it doesn’t seem that He has? Realize that His will may be to lift you up, and carry you and the burden through it all. The Scriptures clearly teach that “He shall sustain THEE!”

You may be carrying a burden that the Lord never intended for you to carry. Don’t get discouraged or bogged down in life’s cares. Right now you can cast your burden on the Lord. Trust Jesus with your burdens. “Cast all you anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

God will never let you fall and He will sustain you because He cares for you. Amen!
