Character!

Have you ever stopped to think about your character before? Abraham Lincoln said, “Character is the tree; reputation is the shadow.” 

That is so true. If we have good character, then others will see it. We should ask the Lord to give us “good character.”

If you are a person who has good character, then you have nothing in life to hide. Christians should be people of integrity, and integrity is being wholesome, truthful, and transparent. We have nothing to hide if we are a people of integrity. 

My integrity means something to me personally, and it is something that nobody else can rob us of or take away from us. If you lose your integrity, it is because you chose to give it up.

Today, we live in a world full of people who lie, cheat, and deceive to get on top, perhaps in the business world and many other areas as people try to get ahead in this world. There is undoubtedly a crisis regarding character and integrity in every facet of life.

Do you desire to be a person of integrity? 

Well, the Bible says, # 1. You must know the Lord; #2: You must fear Him; #3 You must live for Him. In this integrity crisis, we must remember that integrity does count.

Proverbs 19:1 (KJV 1900) 1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, Than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
