Have you ever messed up in life before? We all mess up at times. We are told in the Bible that you can sink in your sin, and staying under will cause you to sink and drown. In 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, we read these words: “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Many people will perish because they’ve decided to refuse the truth of God’s Word. Most people do not want to take orders from God and would instead control their own lives. The Word of God is God’s written truth. ANYONE who disagrees with one dot in God’s Word has rejected the truth and embraced a lie.

The God we serve in heaven is an equal-opportunity employer. People have a choice to accept God and His Word, and He will give them the truth, or they can reject God and His word and refuse His love and truth. It’s pretty simple; God will provide you with whatever you want, and you’ll either live daily for God or not.

Falling into sin will not cause you to sink. Staying IN sin will cause you to sink and drown. God loves each of us too much for us to remain in sin, and he wants us to leave sin. We must remember that nobody is too far under our mighty God and will not forgive them of their sin. What a Mighty God We Serve! Amen!
