John 2:21 says, "But the temple he had spoken of was his body." In this verse, Jesus refers to the temple of God as his own body, which would later be crucified and resurrected. This concept of Jesus as the temple of God reminds us of the importance of acceptance and surrendering to God's will.
Just as Jesus accepted the Father's plan for his life, we are called to accept God's plan for our own lives. This means surrendering our desires, plans, and goals to Him and trusting His ways are higher than ours. It also means accepting ourselves for who we are, including our strengths and weaknesses, and allowing God to work in and through us.
When we accept God's plan, we open ourselves to His blessings and purposes. We can trust that He will guide us in the right direction and give us the strength to fulfill His plan. And when we accept ourselves for who we are, we can find peace and contentment in knowing that we are loved and accepted by God just as we are.
So let us follow Jesus' example of acceptance and surrender to God's will. May we trust in His plan for our lives and find joy in accepting ourselves as beloved children of God. And may we always remember that, just as Jesus was the temple of God, we, too, are vessels through which God can work and be glorified.
