His Purpose!

One of my favorite passages is Romans 8:28, where the Bible says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” The critical thing to note in this verse is the statement referring to Christians/believers: “we are called according to God’s purpose.”

My friend, you and I have a God-given purpose in this life. Everything happening in life and on this planet is moving toward a grand and glorious conclusion. God’s purpose is for His children to love Him and allow that love to be the aim of their lives.

We must realize that this scripture implies that God works all things for good; not all things work out. There will always be suffering, pain, loss, sorrow, and sin in life. But if you love God and have been called according to His purpose, everything will eventually work out for your good. This divine promise from God assures all believers that God works in their lives for His ultimate good. Amen!
