Light In Darkness: Trusting The Lord!

“Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.”

“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.”

Devotion:
Life usually brings seasons of darkness—moments of uncertainty, difficulty, and trouble. Yet, for those who march uprightly by the Lord, His light will always shine amid darkness. His light is that of His presence, guidance, and unfaltering love, reminding us we are not alone.
The righteous will not fear bad news or tribulation, for their hearts are steady upon the Lord. Trusting God means standing upon promises, knowing He is Sovereign and in charge no matter what may come. Fear may seek to creep in, only that faith may consecrate its ground. With God as the foundation of our faith, we can walk through life with peace, somehow convinced He will be with us through the thunders.
Are you going through a season of darkness? Hang in there, cherish His Word, and keep your heart focused on Him. His light will shine on you, and His presence will give you true strength to face every trial with trust.
Prayer:
We thank You for being our light in the midst of darkness. Help us put our hearts in the right place and fix them in You. When fear and doubt swirl around us, increase our faith and remind us of Your ever-waiting love! Let Your light shine on us, bringing hope to others through us. In Jesus' name. Amen.
