Transformed by His Glory!

Scripture:
“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (KJV)
Devotion:
An amazing blessing has come upon those who believe in the Holy Spirit. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, and not just freedom to elude sin or bondage, but a deep and spiritual freedom enabling us to live in God's grace.
Paul said that by beholding the glory of the Lord, we are transformed into that same image. In other words, you will change from glory to glory from the inside out, as you seek God daily, meditate on His Word, and follow Him. This transformation is in no way to be the work of our strength but the Holy Spirit moving on our behalf to change our character.
Are we reflecting Christ's image? Are our words, actions, and thoughts a picture of His character? The longer we are in the presence of the Lord, the more we will see His reflection shining on us. His unspeakable kindness has made us a new creation; behold His excellent glory.
Prayer:
Lord our heavenly Father, we are lost in You, and the Spirit has made freedom our portion. Enable us to continue viewing Your glory, transforming us into the image of Christ. Renew our hearts and minds daily to show forth Your love, grace, and truth. Keep us ever looking towards Your glory, drawing us closer still unto You. In Jesus Christ's name... Amen.
