There are two passages of scripture in the Bible that I stand firm on in my walk with God in my personal life and as I serve in His Ministry calling. Romans 8:28 says that "all things work for the good to those who are called according to His purpose." In my years of serving in ministry, I have seen that God has worked things out for my good for me as I have attempted to serve Him faithfully. When we do what God asks, He will vindicate truths through His Word and work everything out according to His will.
Romans 8:31 says, "If God be for you, who can ever be against you?" Some critics and nay-sayers may get upset or feel let down when you do something for the Lord. I have discovered that over the years that there are individuals who attempt to take the role of God and share their opinion about what others should do in their walk or calling. Christians have the Holy Spirit to guide and lead them, and anything outside God's calling or will is complete disobedience.
Friend, we must walk according to God's will, not what someone else thinks or believes. God gives us a choice each day to be obedient or disobedient. God is in complete control of everything, and His will is all that matters. When we are in His will, He will be for us, and everything will work out for good. Amen!
