Trust!

Proverbs 3:5–6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths."

This passage reminds us of the importance of trust and submission to God. It’s easy to rely on our understanding, especially when faced with decisions and uncertainties. However, this scripture encourages us to be confident in the Lord. Trusting God means acknowledging that His wisdom far exceeds our own.

When we face life’s challenges, let us pause and consider how often we try to navigate our paths with our insight. This can lead us to confusion and missteps. Instead, the invitation is clear: we are to submit our plans to God in every aspect of our lives—relationships, career choices, or personal struggles. This submission is not a sign of weakness; instead, it expresses our faith in His more excellent plan for our lives.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to trust You with all my heart. Teach me to lean not on my understanding but seek Your wisdom in every decision. Guide my steps and make my paths straight so I can walk confidently in Your will. Amen.
