The Devil Is Real!

Friend, I want you to know today that the devil is REAL! There are many; when they think of the devil, they picture this little character running around in red underwear carrying a pitchfork. The devil is intelligent, crafty, and very powerful. The Lord Jesus believes in a personal devil. Our Bible says that the devil is real, and I believe what the Bible says about him. The devil is our adversary, and he is your enemy!

1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; your adversary, the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." This passage says that the devil is working to seek whom he may devour.

According to the Bible, the devil "binds people spiritually" (2 Corinthians 4:4). "He instigates false doctrine" (1 Timothy 4:1-6). "He stirs up trouble in the church and seeks to neutralize its witness. He seeks to disturb the unity of the church by creating discord and division. (Acts 5:3).

The devil is trying to seek to be above God on his throne. The devil will do anything he can to oppose God and those who follow after God. Praise God that the devil's destiny will be sealed in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10). We must realize that the devil is real.
