Hope

Where is your hope? Is it in family and friends? Is your hope in your health? How about your career? Do you place hope in the stock market or worldly things? You have no hope if you put it in any of these things. Psalm 71:5 says: “For thou art my hope, O Lord God: Thou art my trust from my youth.”

The Bible clearly states that our only hope comes from our Lord God. I pray that your hope doesn’t come from things in this old world that will not last! Our hope in Salvation and eternal life only rests in the person of Jesus Christ. Praise God that we can put hope in the resurrection of a Risen Savior! I have hope that Christ will soon return, and when He does, I will spend eternity with Him in glory and in His presence. Only the blessed hope we find in Christ Jesus, our Savior, will last! “O Lord, you alone are my hope!” Amen!
