Courage!

In Joshua 1:9, the Lord commands Joshua, the successor of Moses, to be strong and courageous as he leads the Israelites into the Promised Land. The Lord assures Joshua that He will be with him wherever he goes and that he should not be afraid or discouraged.

This verse reminds us that courage is not the absence of fear but rather the willingness to act despite fear. Joshua was undoubtedly feeling the weight of the enormous responsibility that lay before him, but the Lord's words gave him the courage to move forward.

As believers, we, too, may face situations that require courage. It may be the courage to speak up for what is right, the courage to step out in faith and follow God's calling on our lives, or the courage to persevere in the face of adversity.

We can take comfort in the same promise the Lord gave Joshua. He is always with us; we do not have to be afraid or discouraged. We can draw strength and courage from Him and trust that He will give us the wisdom, courage, and strength we need to face any challenge that comes our way.

So let us be strong and courageous, knowing that we serve a more significant God than any obstacle we may face. Let us trust in Him and take bold steps forward in faith, knowing He will never leave or forsake us.
