Nothing Too Hard for God!

Scripture:

“Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”

— Jeremiah 32:17 (KJV)

Devotion:

In a very powerful way, he affirms God's omnipotence. He recognizes that the God who made the heavens and the earth is the One who rules over all things. Whenever we contemplate the vastness of creation—those stars in heaven, the immense oceans, the delicate design of life—we always reiterate the fact that there is nothing beyond the power of the Lord.

The problems of life sometimes seem impossible to bear. There are also moments when people feel very hurt and don't even know how to make it through. Just as Jeremiah declared, "There is nothing too hard for thee," we must hold on to now, nothing being impossible. Let it be noted that no trial is too hard, no situation is too intricate, and no heart is too broken for God to mend.

If God spoke the universe into existence, divine healing should not be difficult to fathom, nor should divine provision or the strengthening of our faith. Trust His omnipotence. Remember, amid the situation you are currently facing, you serve a God who is almighty and for Whom anything is possible.

Prayer:

Heaven and earth are Your creation, and nothing is too hard for YOU. Help me to trust in the potential of Your action in my life, even when it appears impossible. Help my faith to increase, and thereafter, always make me realize that the destiny of my circumstances lies entirely in Your hands. Thank You for love, for provision, and for unshakeable promises.
