Walking Inconsistently
Daily Devotion by Pastor Shane - January 6, 2021

There are three types of believers in the church: Believers, unbelievers, and make-believers. The make-believers can influence both believers and unbelievers with their inconsistencies.
Just one inconsistency can destroy a work of God. The Bible says in Galatians 5:9 that “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.”
In other words, an unbeliever can reject the Lord Jesus Christ simply by one person’s inconsistencies.
The question remains, do you walk inconsistently? When we behave in inconsistent ways with our faith and testimony, folks who are lost notice the hypocrisy. Inconsistency can cause people to stumble and lower their opinion of the Lord Jesus Christ and biblical Christianity.
Christians are called to walk in the light as children of God. Ephesians 5:8 reads, “For you were once darkness, but now you are the light in the Lord.” The Lord instructs that we walk honestly. Let us not walk with inconsistencies but circumspectly in an upright and honest position as we bear the name and live for King Jesus.
Amen!
