Witnessing!

Have you ever tried witnessing to someone who totally shuts you off as soon as you try talking about God? This has happened many times as I wanted to share the gospel's good news. What we must realize is that there is nothing we can personally do in these types of situations. We can share the scriptures with a brother or sister, but only God can open a person's heart. I have said many times, "our job is to sow, and His job is to grow."

Unfortunately, people often don't even think about the things of the Lord unless their life is in jeopardy. However, no matter what, we must continue to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus and include the truths about heaven and hell, sin, and salvation without compromise.

We must take heart and not give up on people during times of disappointment. Let this be our prayer to have an open heart. Ephesians 1:18: "I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called -- his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance." Amen!
