Joy In Obedience!

God tells us that he is sovereign and that nothing or nobody can pass through Him or by Him to overthrow His decision. In Daniel 4:34-35 the Bible says: “After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.  All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him, ‘What do you mean by doing these things?’” 

 Every circumstance in our lives is filtered through God, and He knows it can be accomplished through Christ’s strength alone (Philippians 4:13). In these times, we are to depend on His strength and remain in obedience to God as we praise Him through the storms that life brings.

When we obediently praise God, we find peace and contentment in every detail and situation of our lives. We do not have a choice if we are to remain in pure obedience to praise God in every circumstance, which brings us joy in obedience. Amen!
