Apart From God, There is No Point!

Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, said, if all there is to life is all you can see, then everything under the sun is vain. Solomon is saying clearly that life without God is a big fat zero. In other words, life without God is equivalent to nothing times nothing. In Ecclesiastes 1:2, Solomon says, "Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. The word translated "vanity" means "vapor."

Some people live their life for nothing. Solomon says this is living a life "in vain." When you go through life on this earth, and you live without God, and you die without God, then you live for nothing and die for nothing. Jesus said people who die without knowing Him as Lord of their life would be better off to have never been born (Matthew 26).

Friends, we must realize in our individual lives that apart from God, there is no point in life. Apart from God, life is one big waste. Now, there will be naysayers who read what I am writing and will disagree with what I am saying. However, what I am saying is in the Word of God, and the Word of God will stand when this old world is set afire.

You can live life without a point and purpose and have nothing, or you can live life for God and have everything, including eternal life, in the presence of Jesus. Amen!
