God Can Call You Out!

In the Book of Jonah, we read that Jonah was running from God's call on his life. In the story, God calls Jonah out for his sin and rebellion. In Numbers, we read where Moses taught the children of Israel, "...be sure your sin will find you out" (Numbers 32:23).

My friends, if you are a child of King Jesus, He loves you so much and knows what you need to escape your sin, but you will never get away with it. You may be doing something sinful in your life right now and think you have gotten away with it, but you will see that God will call you out.

I am reminded of King David when he was in the "Spin Zone" in a sex scandal with Bathsheba. King David was a man after God's heart but didn't get away with his sin as God called him out.

God will expose our sin, and we will have no choice but to confess it. We all carry the same guilt that Jonah carries. Let's take our sin and lay it at the feet of Jesus and ask for His forgiveness or wait, and He will call you out for your sin. One day we will all give an account. Amen!
