Happy Thanksgiving!

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, every day is Thanksgiving. Many say they are thankful for the materialistic blessings God provides in our lives, such as cars and houses. Still, the truth be known; we should be grateful for more than just the materialistic items we have been blessed with. Do you realize that many people do not have the worldly things that you may own? As Christians, we cannot base our thankfulness just on materialistic blessings.

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Romans 8:31, "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" As Christians, we shouldn't worry about who is against us. Let us be thankful that God remains faithful to be with us and that nothing or nobody else can be against us. If you are a true born-again believer in Christ Jesus, you have everything you need, and we ought to be thankful every day of our lives for that.

We will all have good and bad days in this life, and we will all be put to the challenge day in and day out. Even when we have bad days, we ought to wake up and realize that it is another Thanksgiving Day. Amen!
