Authentic Revival!

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, we read: “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”

We must all face the truth that evil is growing all around us. Many people don’t like to hear this, but as much as God has blessed our nation and churches, He will not continue to put up with all that is happening around us. The truth is we need a genuine revival in our land.

Revival is for all of God’s people. The Bible says, “If my people, called by my name.” If you are a part of the family of God, then revival is for you. Our responsibility as Christians is to pray, and God’s responsibility is to heal. The Bible says we are to “seek the LORD and his strength, and seek his face continually” (1 Chronicles 16:11).

To experience revival, we must genuinely repent by becoming aware that we are headed in the wrong direction and then change that direction. When we do these things, we are told that God will hear and forgive our sins and heal our land. This is God’s recipe for genuine revival. Amen!
