Easter!

This weekend we celebrate the most significant event that has ever taken place in the history of the human race. That event is the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Praise be to God that we have hope that there is eternal life. Jesus has conquered the fear of death, and He is the only hope because Easter tells us that Jesus paid it all.

In John 11:25-26, we read where Jesus said: “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” Friend, believing in the resurrection is to believe in God. God created the universe and has power over it, and He even has the power to raise the dead.

For the believer, we have received the ultimate victory. Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose on the third day. My beloved friend, He is coming again! One day, the dead in Christ will be raised at His second coming and will be changed and receive new glorified bodies (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). We have hope because He is the resurrection and the life! Amen!
