GOD'S DESIGN FOR MARRIAGE!

Our views about marriage and family are being challenged. Our beliefs must be firmly grounded in the Word of God. God’s design is that one man and one woman leave their parents and cleave to one another. In Genesis 2:24, we read these words: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

God has designed marriage to be pure, and we will be judged if we are unfaithful to our husbands and wives. God’s design for marriage is to be permanent, and no matter what seems right in the eyes of society, we must uphold the truth and not adapt to the behavior of our present world. Friends, from the beginning, God designed marriage to be permanent.
For the Christian, we must maintain high standards (Matthew 5:27-28).

 As believers, we are responsible for giving honor and remaining faithful in marriage. We must love continually and be faithful in thought, attitude, and action and support and provide for each other. Amen!
