Trusting God!

Who is it that you trust? Is it your family or friends? People are often let down by people, and there are times that feelings are hurt, and tears are shed because trust has been betrayed. We are living in tough times, and God wants us to trust Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” We read many examples of how people of faith trusted God. David trusted God when he faced Goliath. Moses trusted God at the Red Sea. Jonah trusted God in the belly of a whale. We are told to trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and to not lean on our own understanding because Jesus will give us direction.

When faced with life's pressures, we must trust in the real God, Who is our refuge. He will provide all of the resources when we fully trust in Him. God is asking you today, Do you trust me? How will you answer? Amen!
