Untruthfulness!

We live in a world where untruthfulness and lies can no longer be distinguished. Many people go to great lengths to cheat, and many think it is necessary to lie to get by. The Bible teaches that Satan is the "father of lies." Lying is one of the oldest sins and weapons that Satan uses. In Genesis, we read that Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden for lying.

Jesus said of Himself, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). We displease God when we lie, and God has commanded us not to lie.

"You Shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16).
